Sami Fendall, Designer

Sami Fendall is a British production designer based in London. In 2019 Sami took part in the Linbury Prize for Stage Design and was selected to realise her designs for the Birmingham Royal Ballet’s, Ballet Now program in collaboration with choreographer Morgan Runacre Temple.

Most recently Sami art directed a series of three mono drama films for the Royal Opera House, and worked as production designer with director, Tom Shkolnik on his latest dance film, The women by the lake.

Currently Sami is designing the feature film Catching Dust in collaboration with Director, Stuart Gatt.

The production Sami designed for the Birmingham Royal Ballet has been shortlisted for the 2021 Fedora Prize.
