Rhys Jarman

Rhys was one of the winners of the 2007 Linbury Biennial Prize, for his design of VARJAK PAW for the Opera Group. In 2016 he was awarded the One Drama Award Shanghai Modern Drama Valley for best Stage Design of 2016 with The Dreamer. Rhys also exhibited in the Staging Spaces exhibition in the Prague Quadrennial and the V&A in 2019/2020

Designs for Gecko touring nationally and internationally are The Wedding, Institute, Missing and the Dreamer (produced with Shangai Dramatic Arts Centre). Other Gecko shows include Time of Your Life which was produced with the BBC in 2015 and A Little Space a co-production with Mind The Gap.

Recent work includes A View From The Bridge at York Theatre Royal. Nassim by Nassim Soleimanpour and The Bush Theatre touring internationally. Future Bodies for Rash Dash & Unlimited and the 2018 and 2019 seasons at Grosvenor Park Open Air theatre.
