'‘Being chosen as a Linbury Prize finalist is a real achievement for any young theatre designer. It’s a proper step onto the career ladder and opens a lot of doors for those at the early stages of their design career, and stood me in excellent stead when I started out. It gave me a real insight into the realities of the industry and what being a designer really entails. It also gave me my first professional London theatre job, and I’ll be forever thankful for the experience of being a finalist’'
