Faye Bradley, Designer
Faye is a Set & Costume Designer from Essex. She completed a B.A. in Fine Art at the University of Leeds, including a year studying at Arizona State University. In Arizona Faye became interested in the 3.D form, and took classes in clay animation, ceramics and neon sculpture. After she graduated Faye moved to the countryside in Japan and then worked on the N.G.O Peace Boat travelling around the world. She moved to Tokyo but came back to pursue an M.A. in Theatre Design at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Whilst living in Japan Faye was greatly inspired by Japanese theatre. Faye was a finalist for the Linbury Prize for Stage Design and worked with the English Touring Opera. Faye completed a traineeship with the English National Opera. She also received a bursary from the Royal Opera House and shadowed designer Robert Jones for the production of Andre Chenier. Cosi Fan Tutte directed by Paul Higgins and designed by Faye won an Offie for Best Opera Production. Faye has designed the sets and costumes for several performances at Longborough Festival Opera. Faye has designed various operas, plays, tours, and musicals in the U.K, and abroad.
