Training
Debbie Duru trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Goldsmiths College and with the Es Devlin Studio.
Theatre
Debbie Duru is currently working on Get Up Stand Up! The Bob Marley musical as associate set designer.
Other work includes: Dick Whittington (associate set designer) at The National; Designer, Living Newspaper at the Royal Court; as set and costume designer, Hamlet at Bute, Cardiff; as set designer, Company at Sherman, Cardiff;
TV
Debbie Duru has worked as both costume assistant and wardrobe assistant for Ellen Claridge.
