Rajha Shakiry
Rajha is a freelance set and costume designer, trained in Theatre Design at Wimbledon School of Art and has obtained a distinction in MA Scenography at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She has extensive experience in national, international and touring productions. Rajha has designed and collaborated on numerous devised and text-based projects, physical theatre, musical theatre and opera.
Rajha’s work was selected to represent the UK at the Prague Quadrennial 2019 for Design and Performance. She has exhibited at the V&A as part of Staging Places Exhibition, 2019 and Make:Believe, 2015 and as a finalist at World Stage Design, 2013.
