Tiffany Fraser Steele
Tiffany Fraser Steele is a BA graduate in Fashion (Middlesex University) currently studying MA Costume for Performance at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London. She has worked as a senior fashion editor in fashion magazine publishing in the UK and USA since leaving university, styling and directing fashion shoots and fashion shows.
She has subsequently worked as a freelance creative/art director with a number of fashion retail brands, in the UK and abroad, creating concepts, directing and editing stills shoots and developing concepts and ideas for moving image.
More recently Tiffany Fraser Steele has designed and made costumes for five high school theatre productions, before beginning her MA at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London.
She lives in Woodbridge, Suffolk.

Electric Rusalka
a Las Vegas love story
Rusalka’s world
Rusalka lives in a dark dank storm drain underneath a dystopian Las Vegas. Rusalka and all the ’Drain People’ wear life support suits that keep them cool. The suits are made of re-cycled electrical wires and pipes, and are plugged into the electrical supply above. Rusalka floats in a gauze suit, like an electric Ophelia, in the semi- darkness. The only light comes from torches and filtered light from the drain covers above, creating a monochrome moonlight feel to the drain set.
The Human world
In contrast, the human world is a colourful, overheating future Las Vegas. It is made up the flashing and sputtering of broken-down neon lights. A place of over consumption, 24-hour wedding chapels and gambling. The soaring heat melts tarmac streets and the light is so bright all humans wear dark glasses. It is only possible to survive above ground in the synthetic air-conditioned environment humankind has created. Soon to run out of water, the environmental clock is ticking towards destruction.
