Valentine Gigandet

Valentine (she/her) is a designer and maker for performance. She has particular interests in collaboration, community work and sustainability within performance design.

Before graduating from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2020, she studied literature and developed a passion for text-based work. She is also really interested in more unconventional work like participatory work, performance in public spaces, installation.

Valentine has run workshops and educational projects in community settings in Wales for Criw Celf, Oasis, St Fagans.

Originally from France, she studied for three years in École Boulle in Paris where she learned to work closely with artisans, interesting materials and techniques.
