''The Linbury Prize gave me the opportunity to explore my creative design process. Getting to work with directors in prestigious companies at an early stage in my career was invaluable and I loved getting to connect with more of my design contemporaries.''

Jess Staton, Designer

Jessica graduated in Design for Performance from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Her most recent design for 'Tryst' at the Chiswick Playhouse was nominated for an Off West End Award for Set Design 2020 and the production won the Standing Ovation Award for Outstanding Theatricality from the London Pub Theatre Awards. She was also nominated for a Stage Debut Design Award for Extra Yarn and was a Linbury Prize 2017 Finalist, working with the Lyric Hammersmith.
